About Guests

Vivek Jayaram is an attorney. As Founder of Jayaram Law, he’s also a successful entrepreneur, which gives him a sound base for advising other entrepreneurs, creatives, and the companies they run. From groundbreaking artists and Web 3.0 innovators, to unique international brands in fashion and new media, Vivek handles their intellectual property transactions and disputes, corporate deals, and acts as an outside general counsel.

Vivek teaches intellectual property and entertainment law courses at the University of Miami Law School and Co-Founder of Sweat Records Records, an independent record label producing and distributing music from Miami's most exciting new acts. Prior to Jayaram Law, he was an associate at Greenberg Traurig, as well as a law clerk to the Honorable Adalberto Jordan of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

 

Alex Poon is a 3X VC-backed founder. He is the co-founder of CharmVerse, a web3 community operations platform. In the last 10 years, he co-founded AI startups x.ai and Visual Revenue (both acquired). Earlier in his career, he built software for unmanned aerial vehicles. Alex is an organizational design nerd, constantly experimenting with new ways to power the future of work.

 

Cristian Lupascu, CEO of OMNIA, leads a blockchain company focused on Web3 and fintech security. Known for his expertise in privacy, encryption, and cryptography, he holds a Ph.D. from the Military Technical Academy, Bucharest. Before OMNIA, he was a cybersecurity expert at Romania's Ministry of Defense and trained the EU's CEPOL agency. At certSIGN, he innovated in PKI systems. An active Web3 contributor, Cristian is a speaker, mentor, and investor, shaping the industry.
